Happy Mother's Day From Robert D. Hare

At 9:11 a.m. this morning, I made the following post on Facebook. I am reposting it here for posterity.

While making a digital Mother's Day card with Amazon Photos, Amazon's algorithm decided to use a photo I had saved to my account of psychopathy trailblazer Robert D. Hare as the first photo in the montage. It really was too funny not to use, so now my mom gets to feel she has the blessings of me and Robert D. Hare this Mother's Day. And I think that's a much nicer gift than any flowers money can buy.

I also want to take this opportunity to say read anything by Robert D. Hare and Martha Stout. I've been an anti-psychopath since high school, after reading "The Sociopath Next Door" by Martha Stout. Sociopaths are so bad they're not even wanted by those involved in organized crime. They really are the devils in society (Stout's word, not mine), and they are the ones who never get out of prison early. They are useful as snipers in the military, but otherwise serve no positive role in society. There's no cure for psychopathy, so if you know someone devoid of a conscience, just get away from him or her—even if you work in psychology or psychiatry.
